Halfway between a tombstone and a till receipt, Vestiges of Desire turns the reckoning of a life into an intimate ledger. Born from a conversation with an artificial intelligence about drafting a will, the project tallies acts carried out and left undone, encounters and missed opportunities. Engraved in stone, these fragmented receipts question what we leave behind and whether we can count what gives a life its value.
